I was native New Yorker, just south of Buffalo, when our broker (my son) Gary, was offered a job in the panhandle. I was skeptical as I had never visited the area, but I’ve always had a love for Florida. I would take the kids on vacations to Disney, Clearwater Beach, Madeira Beach, and Tampa. In my youth our mom took us to Daytona, St Augustine, and Clearwater Beach. I absolutely loved it!! Fast forward to 2020; I had an opportunity to move to Freeport, 1020 Bay Grove Road to be exact. I jumped at it! Living on Bay Grove Road is perfect ! Many things to note, but there are live oaks, pines, and perfect sunsets on the bay and bayou. Neighbors that are friendly and a road that you can still walk, bike, and/or run. Deer frequent our yards. I love being close enough to go to the 30a beaches. I also breathe a big sigh of relief when I’m back over the bridge, at home on Bay Grove Road. Come visit us at 1020 Bay Grove Road.
